Resetting After A Long Vacation

I usually make an effort to workout when on vacation, but I wasn't successful at this on my most recent trip to Paris and London.  My ten-day get away was packed and I wouldn't have it any other way.  I savored every delicious bite of every meal I had and totally absorbed the cultures.  However, I did make sure I walked at least 10,000 steps a day.  That was my saving grace. This is not hard to achieve in Paris and London.  I believe there was one day I actually walked 20,000 steps.  My philosophy is to "keep moving" and not to beat myself up over not getting the perfect workout.

Fueling The Body

Working Out

Fitness is a fundamental component of my wellness routine.  There are so may options out there right now with the continued surge in boutique fitness studios.  It definitely can get overwhelming!  I've tried many of them and have grown to truly enjoy a select few.  My philosophy is that you have to find what works for you and put yourself on a workout schedule and don't be afraid to mix it up. Your workout session  needs to be treated as a date your can't miss.
